• There are a few people who because of allergies, cannot wear the fabric wool and choose to buy a suit made from linen or polyester. Neither are a good of quality as wool since they don't hold up as well or breathe well but they are cheap enough to make people buy them. One plus about a linen or polyester suit is that they don't wrinkle easily which is why you see so many traveling salesmen wearing a polyester suit.
• The last step in this process is to make sure everything fits properly. You don't want a suit which looks bad across your back and shoulders or is too tight around your arms. To ensure a proper fit, try the suit on and then have a tailor do some minor alterations to it. Most suit stores can do that in house so it shouldn't be an issue to find a tailor.

The prevalence of patent leather once again harks back to that vampish, 1980s feel; worn with a belted sweater and a skirt, patent leather boots can bestow a classy day-to-evening appearance, and if layered with a polo neck, will provide a more mod-ish look. Last but not least, the Autumn season would amount to nothing if it did not include the high boot. Though booties may currently be stealing the limelight, high boots will always provide a sophisticated air that few other items of footwear are capable of; wear with a patterned coat, or a mini skirt and a cropped jacket to achieve maximum effect.

Then she embroidered a smile on the silly face. Finally, the young couple went shopping and splurged on a white blouse with lace around the collar and around the wrists. They wrapped and placed the gifts under a small tree sitting on a bookcase where little hands couldn't reach. The label on the infant-sized robe and nightgown said, 'from Daddy.'

"Christmas Eve, the mother bathed the baby and wrapped her in a towel before taking her to the living room. However, when she picked up the worn, slightly stained pajamas, the mother paused and turned to her husband. 'This is what Rene will be wearing when we take pictures of her in the morning.'"

I looked at the eager faces around me. "Want to hear some more stories about what your parents did when they were your age on Christmas Eve?"

"Yes, Granny, tell us some more stories," Shane piped up from his spot on the floor.

After the stories, the family sang carols before trooping to bed.
